An
internship type of job is fine if it leads to a career you want,
especially at the company offering the job. You probably selected
that firm because it appealed to you for good reasons. And
also, you will be getting little if any pay. It should be a true
apprenticeship relation. That means the job is not a means of an
employer getting someone to work for below-market wages. In fact,
labor laws dictate against that.
So
consider internships carefully, as they can be quite useful if
